This page explains how to request deletion of personal information from Blueberry.

How to request deletion

Email support@tryblueberry.ca with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."

What to include

  • The email address associated with the account
  • The full name on the account (if provided)
  • A brief description of what should be deleted (for example, the entire account and all associated data)
  • If the request is sent from a different email address than the account email, additional verification may be required.

What happens next

  • Blueberry acknowledges the request within 2 business days.
  • Identity is verified to prevent unauthorised deletion.
  • Account data is deleted or de-identified, generally within 30 days after verification.

What is deleted

Depending on the request, Blueberry deletes or de-identifies:

  • account profile information;
  • saved hubs/locations and preferences;
  • saved providers/shortlists;
  • notes created by the user.

What may be retained

Certain records may be retained where required or permitted by law, including:

  • billing and tax records related to paid subscriptions;
  • limited security logs needed to prevent fraud or abuse;
  • records required to resolve disputes or enforce agreements.

Any retained information is protected with appropriate safeguards and kept only as long as necessary.

Confirmation

Blueberry confirms by email when deletion is completed.
