Blueberry uses service providers to operate the Platform. Personal information may be stored or processed in Canada and/or the United States, depending on the service providers used.

If AI-assisted drafting is used, limited inputs are sent to an AI service provider (currently OpenAI) to generate draft text. Blueberry's intent is to send only the information needed to generate the draft (for example, child age and non-identifying preferences). Individuals should avoid entering identifying or sensitive personal information into AI prompt inputs. If the AI drafting feature is not used, information is not sent to the AI provider for that purpose.
Personal information is used to:
Marketing messages are sent only to individuals who opt in or otherwise provide consent where required by law. Unsubscribe options are provided in marketing emails and individuals may also request removal by contacting Blueberry.

Depending on the service providers used, personal information may be stored or processed outside Canada, including in the United States. When information is processed outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.
Blueberry remains responsible for personal information transferred to service providers and uses contractual and organisational safeguards to protect it.
Personal information is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including security, legal, and billing requirements. When accounts are closed or deletion is requested, information is deleted or de-identified within a reasonable period, subject to legal requirements and legitimate security needs.
Provider-related information contributed to improve listings may be retained as part of the provider directory (for example, an updated daycare contact email) even if an account is deleted, unless removal is required by law or the information is determined to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Where feasible, such information is retained without identifying the contributing user.
Blueberry implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards to protect personal information. No system is completely secure and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
